One large fire occurred in the Protection Area during the reporting period:
Powder Mill (Latimer County) – Three units (three Type 6 Engines, three Type 3 Dozers and six personnel) from the East Central Area controlled this incendiary-caused fire that burned 600 acres five miles northwest of Wilburton.
