FIRE DEPARTMENT STATISTICS** from www.firereporting.ok.gov recorded on 12/16/16 thru 12/19/16

1 Fire Burned 2,500 +/- Acres (Cause: 1-Misc) Guymon FD Reporting

Statewide Discussion: The highest fire danger today will lie in areas south and east of I-44 where light snow totals on disappeared due to sublimation. Despite the cold temperatures, relative humidity values dipping as low as 18% in the area for a brief period this afternoon will result in receptive dormant grass fuels. Light and variable winds this afternoon will limit rate of fire spread and provide for good probability of successful firefighting efforts.

Looking ahead, limited fire danger will be present through much of the week especially in southern and eastern counties prior to precipitation chances returning late week.
