Statewide Discussion: No reports of unusual fire activity or requests for State assistance were received yesterday.
No fire control problems are anticipated anywhere in Oklahoma today.
Tomorrow the fire danger will be the highest north of a line from Osage County to Beckham County. South-southwest winds are forecast to be sustained from 15-20 mph with gusts from 25-35 mph. Relative humidity is expected to drop into the 25-30% range by late Saturday afternoon. Any fire starting in and near this area has the potential to burn intensely and exhibit rapid rates of spread, especially in areas where little moisture has occurred over the last several days.
No fire control problems are anticipated on Sunday anywhere in Oklahoma.
